Checking the live data I see the Lambda ON-OFF at Negative 8 to 6 (rich), the idle adaptation immediately started to compensate by reducing the injector duration at idle, I think it hit the limit at 0.383ms as this is more than %10 reduction. I did suspect a number of issues common to the M104 (i.e threw parts at it!), BUT this is a tough one!ĩ7 Bosch ME2.1: No misfire codes, no issues with wiring nor throttle, no EGR, no secondary pump, intake checked and cleaned, no vacuum leaks. The issue now is an unstable idle in P/N, with no drive-ability problems, no fault codes, no fault counters and the car passed the EU emissions inspection with everything in spec. It needed the type of work not carried our by the dealership (ordered service/repair), as there was no apparent fault codes nor issues serious issue concerning road safety. The 1997 C36 AMG I bought in the spring is an excellent example with full M-B service history and 2 owners since new.
